Commercial Finance Assistant

The organisation has a strong reputation within its sector and continues to invest in both its people and operations.Due to ongoing growth and development within the finance team, they are looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Assistant to support financial reporting, operational analysis and business performance activities across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond purely transactional finance and gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting and management accounting processes.Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function whilst working closely with operational stakeholders across the business.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesProducing daily, weekly and monthly KPI reportsAssisting with inventory and stock accounting processesSupporting cost analysis and margin reportingAssisting with month-end activities including journals, accruals and prepaymentsSupporting financial reporting and variance analysisWorking alongside operational teams to understand production performance and costsAssisting with forecasting production volumes and capacity requirementsSupporting process improvement initiatives across finance and operationsMaintaining accurate ..... full job details .....
