Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor - London/Hybrid 500 per day Umbrella A London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor to join its Property Services team and take responsibility for the management of a diverse commercial property portfolio Key Responsibilities Managing a commercial property portfolio on behalf of the councilHandling landlord and tenant mattersUndertaking rent reviews and lease renewalsManaging lettings and negotiating new leasesService charge management, administration and recoveryProcessing assignments, sublettings, licences and wayleavesManaging arrears and maintaining positive tenant relationshipsConducting property inspections and general estate management dutiesIdentifying and delivering income generation opportunitiesSupporting asset management initiatives and portfolio performance improvementsProviding professional property advice to internal stakeholders Experience Significant experience managing commercial property portfoliosStrong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and practiceExperience undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and lease negotiationsA proven track record in estate management and income generationExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skillsThe ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervisionStrong report writing and communication skills Desirable MRICS qualifiedPrevious experience working within a Local Authority or public sector property ..... full job details .....
