The role will involve a mix of installation, containment, and emergancy lighting, with a strong focus on emergency lighting systems and containment installation. This is a site-based role working within live educational environments, requiring a professional and safety-conscious approach at all times. Key Responsibilities Installation, maintenance, and testing of emergency lighting systems in line with current regulations. Installation of containment systems including cable basket, tray, conduit, and trunking. Carrying out electrical installation works within school environments. Assisting with upgrades, modifications, and refurbishment of existing electrical systems. Fault finding and basic remedial electrical works where required. Ensuring all work is completed to BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and relevant safety standards. Working safely in occupied school environments with strict safeguarding requirements.
