Commercial Director - Top Tier Contractor

Role: Bracken Recruitment have an exciting opportunity of an experienced Commercial Director with a strong Civil Engineering background to join an exciting business with a fantastic reputation. The Business that we represent are a market leader and have an extremely strong pipeline of work moving forward. You will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of all commercial aspects of the £250m + division s performance and reporting. Provide support to the Managing Director in all commercial matters and provide direction, support, development and empowerment of individuals to achieve both divisional and individual objectives. General Responsibilities: Managing a team of Commercial Managers Assisting Bid and estimating teams Oversee the relationships between surveyors and operations, ensuring co-operation and engagement that allows for successful projects which support the achievement of the business objectives and that you are able to deliver the agreed budgeted margins. Support the Managing Director in reporting to the Board of Directors on all divisional financial issues, with clarity and transparency in all areas. Participate in group-wide forums and initiatives and contribute fully to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures. Agree target margins for all projects.
