Our client is a leading civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure contractor delivering complex projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead the commercial function and drive performance across the business.This is a high-profile leadership appointment for an accomplished commercial professional with a proven track record within groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure environments.The RoleReporting into the senior leadership team, the Commercial Director will take full responsibility for the commercial operation of the business, ensuring strong financial performance, effective governance and commercial excellence throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include:Leading and managing the entire commercial function.Overseeing projects from tender stage through to final account and post-completion.Managing all procurement and buying activities.Driving commercial strategy and business performance.Full PandL responsibility.Producing and managing cashflow and pipeline forecasts.Overseeing management accounts and commercial reporting.Ensuring robust commercial governance and risk management.Supporting business growth and maintaining strong client relationships.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Significant experience within groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure contracting.A strong background in senior ..... full job details .....
