It provides commercial legal advice to business units within the Fund and assists the Legal Department in managing legal risk internationally. It sits separate from the Investments Legal team, focusing on non-investment-related matters such as service agreements/vendors, liabilities and indemnities, technology, procurement, and more.Responsibilities

Work autonomously and proactively provide legal advice on a range of general corporate and commercial mattersDevelop, review, negotiate, draft, and resolve all types of service, master supply, and consulting agreementsLead on major and/or complex commercial transactions (non-investment related)Provide legal support for strategic projects and assist with policies and proceduresSupport the management of external commercial matters and present to the businessWhat you''ll need

Current England and Wales practising certificate issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority / Qualified LawyerLaw degree or equivalentStrong Private Practice / Law Firm experience within commercial/corporate spaceExcellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skillsExperience working in a dynamic and collaborative environmentTrack record of providing commercially focused legal supportExposure to working in a regulated/FCA environmentAny exposure to US Legal matters as well as UK/Europe is a plusLife at AustralianSuper
