Quantity Surveyor Location: BeverleyJob Type: Full-time, Permanent We''re working with an established and growing construction business who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. This is a hands-on commercial role supporting the management of an allocated portfolio of projects. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors, you will take responsibility for day-to-day commercial administration, financial control and contract management. The role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Controller or commercially focused construction professional looking to take ownership of projects and develop towards a Senior Quantity Surveyor position. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Taking day-to-day commercial responsibility for an allocated portfolio of projects Maintaining accurate project costs, revenue, forecasts and margins Monitoring project performance and identifying commercial risks and opportunities Supporting the preparation and review of project budgets and forecasts Preparing and submitting applications for payment Reviewing payment certificates, client approvals and subcontractor applications Managing valuations, payments and final accounts Monitoring project costs against approved orders and budgets Identifying, recording and valuing variations and commercial changes Maintaining variation registers and supporting contractual notices and ..... full job details .....
