Commercial / Contracts Manager Engineering / Manufacturing We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing engineering and manufacturing business based near Ipswich, who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial / Contracts Manager. This is a hands-on commercial role, working closely with the Managing Director and teams across Sales, Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Operations and Finance. The role will suit someone who enjoys being involved in the detail, can spot commercial risks early and is confident managing contracts, pricing, margins and customer relationships. As Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial side of a range of bespoke engineering projects, from the initial tender and pricing stage through to delivery and completion. Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining the sales forecast, ensuring it is accurate and up to date. Reviewing pricing, margins, payment terms and commercial risks. Managing stock levels in line with business requirements and sales forecasts. Negotiating terms with customers, suppliers and subcontractors. Ensuring a smooth commercial handover from sales into project delivery. Monitoring project margins, cash flow, variations, claims and invoicing. Reviewing completed projects to understand final margins, performance and lessons learned. Ensuring contracts, commercial records and notices are properly maintained.
