An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NewLaw commercial law team as a Commercial Contracts Lawyer based in the UK regions, working closely with London and other regional offices. We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is passionate about client service and wants to be part of the future of legal services, helping to grow our legal practice and develop our business in the Regions.What Your Days Will Look Like

Reviewing, assessing, and drafting IT, outsourcing and general commercial agreementsAdvice on IT, e-commerce, outsourcing and general commercial lawsSupporting clients in the negotiation of a range of transactions and developing/maintaining contract negotiation playbooks for clientsSupporting clients to leverage technology-enabled workflows to support contract preparation, negotiation and executionBusiness development, including building a network of referrers within PwC as well as developing direct client relationshipsSome commercial contracts support for due diligence workThis Role Is For You If

Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction7+ years PQE with experience of advising on commercial contracts with strong contract drafting and analytical skillsAbility to meet tight deadlines and to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to use initiative and a willingness to embrace innovation and continuous improvementAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to harness new technology to deliver better services, fasterWhat You’ll Receive From Us
