Commercial Assistant Rail / InfrastructureLocation: Huddersfield Salary: £36,000 Job Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid 3 days office / 2 days WFHWe are currently recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to join an established engineering and infrastructure business.The role will initially involve a 6 9 month secondment supporting the commercial team on a major rail infrastructure programme, before returning to the wider business.The RoleYou will support the Commercial Manager and wider team with day-to-day commercial administration, including: Supporting weekly labour call-offs and ordersChecking timesheets, rates and supplier applications for paymentProcessing authorised amendments and variationsMaintaining commercial trackers, records and audit trailsLiaising with suppliers and project teams to resolve queriesProviding general commercial and administrative support About You Highly organised with strong attention to detailConfident using Microsoft ExcelGood communication and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple tasksPrevious commercial, finance, procurement or administration experience desirableA relevant QS, commercial or construction qualification would be advantageousRail/infrastructure experience desirable but not essential This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within commercial management, with potential progression towards Quantity Surveying.What''s on Offer £36,000 salaryPermanent positionMajor ..... full job details .....
