Our client, a leader in food distribution are hiring in their supply chain team.
This permanent position is ideal for someone with a strong background in supplier relationship management and supply chain control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with all core range suppliers to improve inbound service levels
- Increase the flexibility and efficiency of the supply chain by working proactively with suppliers
- Identify new opportunities for streamlining processes, reducing costs, and generating income through effective supply chain delivery.
- Manage and develop supply chain income by increasing existing revenue streams and creating new ones.
- Motivate and manage direct and indirect reports to achieve the best results.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and third parties
- Strong skills in identifying opportunities for streamlining and reducing costs within the supply chain.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve optimal results.
- Strong data and analysis skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Sound commercial knowledge to manage and develop commercial revenue streams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
