We are recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing contractor who are seeking a proactive Commercial Administrator to join their busy team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills to support the commercial function on refurbishment and maintenance projects within the housing sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the commercial team, including document control and filing.
- Assist with processing subcontractor payments, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and cost reports.
- Support the preparation of tenders, valuations, and commercial documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and supply chain to ensure smooth flow of information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Previous administration experience (commercial/construction background desirable).
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and document management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude.
