Commercial Accountant

Our Client is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the organisation to develop detailed cost models, support commercial decision-making, and provide financial analysis to support business growth and profitability. This role requires a highly analytical individual who can work accurately to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You will play a key role in new business quotations, profitability analysis, KPI reporting, and cost management activities. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed cost models for new business quotations. Provide profitability analysis to support ongoing business activities and RFQs. Monitor product profitability from development through to the full product lifecycle. Collaborate closely with European and Group functions across the business. Manage intercompany transfer pricing in accordance with global cost management guidelines. Create, maintain, and report on studies relating to product specification changes, design modifications, and project milestones. Produce management information to support commercial and strategic decision-making. Prepare and deliver monthly KPI reporting and variance analysis. Identify improvement opportunities and support cost reduction initiatives. Complete ad hoc reporting requirements for Group stakeholders.
