They are a medium-sized company known for their structured approach and emphasis on delivering exceptional services to their clients.DescriptionThe Commercial Accountant''s responsibilities includeProcess supplier invoices and ensure accurate codingManage supplier payments and payment runsReconcile supplier statements and resolve queriesRaise sales invoices and credit notesMonitor outstanding debtors and assist with credit controlReconcile customer accounts and handle queriesPerform bank reconciliationsAssist with monitoring day-to-day cash movementsAssist in preparing month-end accounts and post journals (accruals, prepayments, adjustments)Support the Finance Manager with reporting tasksSupport audit preparation where requiredPrepare monthly management accounts, including PandL, balance sheetMaintain strong financial controls and compliance (VAT, tax, statutory requirements)Drive process improvements and efficiencies, including systems and reportingContribute to the overall financial strategy of the businessProfileA successful Commercial Accountant should have:A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving ..... full job details .....
