Commercial Accountant

This is a pivotal role in the business where the Commercial Accountant will be required to directly support the Finance Manager. This is a newly created role due to a recent acquisition.Client DetailsThis opportunity is with a well-established, large organisation based near Shirebrook. The company is known for its robust market presence and commitment to delivering quality products and services to its customers.DescriptionThe Commercial Accountant''s duties will include but are not limited to:Reporting of overhead costs, including calculation and input into the finance system of monthly prepayments and accrualsProduction of reporting in order to help with financial planning, including review and investigation of any variances between the actual results and budgeted/forecasted resultsBuild relationships with relevant commercial departments and provide business partnering for financial/numerical queriesCalculation of figures to be included in budgets and forecasts for specific departments/ cost linesPresentation of monthly finance reports to direct line manager, and senior finance as required.Balance sheet reconciliations.Support group and statutory audits for relevant areas.Project workAssisting with the integration of new subsidiariesAd-hoc support to wider UK finance team as required.
