Commercial Accountant

Commercial AccountantFull Time £40,000 - £50,000This role sits at the centre of a busy operational site, supporting performance through accurate reporting and clear financial insight.You will work closely with both finance and operational teams, helping to track performance, understand costs, and ensure the numbers reflect what is actually happening day to day. It is a hands-on role where you will be expected to question, investigate and contribute to better decision-making - not just produce reports.What you will be doing:Producing and reviewing regular performance and management informationTracking costs, margins and key site KPIsInvestigating stock movements and resolving discrepanciesSupporting budgeting, forecasting and ongoing analysisEnsuring overheads, accruals and prepayments are accurately recordedHighlighting trends, risks and opportunities to key stakeholdersContributing to improvements in reporting, processes and systemsYou will be visible across the site, working with non-finance teams and building relationships to better understand what is driving performance.What we are looking for:Experience in a management accounts or commercially focused finance roleStrong Excel skills and confidence working with dataAble to turn numbers into clear, practical insightComfortable communicating with both finance and operational teamsOrganised, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentManufacturing or production experience would be useful, but not ..... full job details .....
