OverviewCommercial Account Manager - Food Manufacturing — Redditch. Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Depending on Experience).
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company based in Redditch, is looking for a results-driven and relationship-focused Commercial Account Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a key position within the business, responsible for driving sales and profitability by managing high-value customer accounts and developing long-term, collaborative relationships both externally and internally.
Responsibilities
Optimise sales and profit margins across key accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, handling day-to-day queries and long-term planning.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including planning, operations, and technical to deliver exceptional service.
Monitor account performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to maximise results.
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to support business decisions.
What We''re Looking For
Proven experience in a customer-facing commercial or account management role, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
Commercially astute with a strong understanding of margins, pricing, and negotiation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
