Description: Braxfield Recruitment is working with a local authority in North London to find an experienced Compliance and Asbestos Surveyor on an interim basis for 6 12 months. You''ll inspect and quality-check works across the council''s compliance programme, with a particular focus on asbestos management in its domestic housing stock. The role Carry out surveys and inspections across the council''s housing stock, focusing on asbestos Inspect and sign off works across fire, water, electrical, gas and lifts Quality-check contractor works and make sure they meet regulations and specifications Review asbestos surveys, registers and removal works, and make sure records are accurate and up to date Raise defects and recommendations, and follow them through to completion Liaise with contractors, residents and the wider compliance team About you Proven experience as an asbestos or compliance surveyor, ideally in social housing or a local authority A recognised asbestos qualification (e.g. BOHS P402 or equivalent) Good working knowledge of the Control ..... full job details .....
