Combustion Service EngineerScotland (Field-Based) 45,000 - 70,000 + Overtime Full-Time, PermanentWe are currently working with a well-established engineering services provider to recruit a Combustion Service Engineer to support a growing portfolio of industrial clients across Scotland.This is a varied, field-based role offering the opportunity to work on industrial combustion systems and steam plant, with strong earning potential through overtime and ongoing technical development.The RoleAs a Combustion Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of combustion and gas systems across a range of industrial sites.You will operate in a fast-paced environment, responding to both planned maintenance schedules and reactive breakdowns, while working closely with internal technical teams and clients.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on combustion equipmentResponding to breakdowns and participating in an on-call rotaFault finding, diagnostics, and repair of gas and combustion systemsInstallation and commissioning of industrial burners and associated plantMonitoring performance and ensuring optimal system operationProducing detailed service reports and technical documentationBuilding strong relationships with clients on-siteIdentifying opportunities for upgrades and energy efficiency improvementsSupporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprenticesCollaborating with wider ..... full job details .....
