The college has a supportive and inclusive ethos, with a strong focus on student wellbeing and providing a safe, welcoming environment for all learners.The college is looking to appoint a College Nurse on a short-term 6-week basis, working with post-16 students. The role will be a combination of delivering training sessions on allergies, Epee Pens, Dyslexia and any other common needs that accure in a college setting.The successful College Nurse will be responsible for providing first aid, managing ongoing medical conditions, administering medication, and supporting safeguarding and student welfare across the setting.The successful College Nurse will have:• A relevant Nursing qualification and valid NMC registration• Experience working with young people, ideally within an education setting• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures• Ability to manage medical needs and respond to emergencies• Excellent communication and organisational skills• A calm, professional and compassionate approachIn return for the above you can expect to ..... full job details .....
