Collections and Recoveries Advisor (Belfast City Centre)

Honeycomb is partnering with a well-established banking organisation to recruit a Senior Collections and Recoveries Advisor for their Belfast City Centre office. This temporary position (6-12 months) offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a respected employer.The RoleWorking as part of the Collections and Recoveries team, you will be responsible for supporting customers who are experiencing financial challenges. The role is predominantly inbound telephone-based, requiring you to manage a high volume of customer conversations with professionalism and understanding.Key duties include:Speaking with customers to assess their current financial position and identify appropriate solutionsHandling complex and sensitive discussions in a calm, empathetic mannerAgreeing on affordable repayment arrangements tailored to individual circumstancesProviding information on available debt resolution options and support measuresReferring customers to relevant external agencies where additional advice may be beneficialMonitoring customer arrangements and making amendments where requiredEnsuring all interactions are conducted in line with regulatory and company standardsThe PersonPrevious experience in a customer-facing, banking, financial services, or collections environmentAn understanding of debt management, recoveries, collections, or asset finance processesExcellent communication and listening skillsThe ability to build rapport and manage difficult conversations ..... full job details .....
