What you’ll do:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts – not just taking calls, but handling the admin and follow-up work that keeps things moving
- Speak with customers by phone and email to agree repayment plans and resolve overdue accounts
- Investigate account issues and work with billing, legal, and tenancy teams to get answers and solutions
- Keep clear and accurate records of payment plans, agreements, and account updates
- Share insights with the team and support colleagues – we all succeed together
- Staying Compliant: Ensure all actions are in line with industry regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and data protection laws.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisation skills – comfortable juggling calls, emails, and admin
- Clear communicator who can stay professional in sensitive situations
- A team player who thrives in a smaller, collaborative team
- Problem-solver – able to investigate account issues, think on your feet, and find fair solutions for customers
- Previous collections, customer service, or admin experience is helpful, but not essential – full training provided
- Goal-driven – motivated by targets
