Collation and Despatch Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Collation and Despatch Supervisor to join a successful and established business within the horticulture industry, playing a key role in its plant production and despatch operations.You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the collation team, ensuring young plants are graded, collated and prepared for despatch in line with customer specifications and quality standards. You''ll coordinate workloads, support and develop team members, and ensure orders are accurately fulfilled while maintaining the quality and freshness of products. The role will also involve verifying plant quantities, varieties, sizes and grades, coordinating the movement of plants between growing areas and despatch, identifying any damaged or unsuitable products, and ensuring all activities are carried out in line with operational procedures and health and safety requirements.The successful candidate will have previous experience within horticulture, plant production or agricultural operations, alongside supervisory experience or the ability to coordinate and motivate a team.
