Collab / Workplace Engineer Location: Barrow-in-Furness Full-Time 5 Days OnsiteSalary: Up to £36,000 + pension, healthcare opt, unlimited training budgetWe''re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Onsite Desktop Engineer to join a fast-paced IT support environment supporting high-profile end users and business operations onsite in Barrow-in-Furness.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong desktop support experience who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete assigned technical tasks within agreed timeframesSupport project delivery alongside internal and external project teamsCarry out operational and support activities to SLA targetsDeliver exceptional customer support and user experienceDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issuesSupport desktop deployments, upgrades, and configurationsSkills and ExperienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments (Windows 10/11 preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office and end-user supportSCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshootingUnderstanding of scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scriptingKnowledge of BitLocker, NTFS permissions, and desktop security practicesFamiliarity with Microsoft Outlook, Exchange environments, and collaboration toolsExperience using ITSM platforms such as ..... full job details .....
