Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for a rolling mill operator for a well established manufacturer based in Oldbury.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
  
  • Set up and operate rolling mill/roll forming-machinery according to production specifications

  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality
    
    -
  
  
  • Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required standards
    
    -
  
  
  • Perform basic maintenance for-minor machine issues
    
    -
  
  
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
    
    -
  
  
  • Ensure production targets are met within established timeframes
    
    -
  
  
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work area
    
    -
  
  
  • Complete required production paperwork accurately

Requirements-

• Previous experience operating-roll forming/rolling mill machines
  
  -

• Strong mechanical knowledge-and troubleshooting skills
  
  -

• Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and specifications
  
  -

• Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices
  
  -

• Excellent attention to detail
  
  -

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  -

Hours: This will be a fixed night shift working 18:00-04:30 Monday-Wednesday and 18:00-01:00 Thursday.



Pay: The rate of pay to start would be either -15.56 per hour or -16.48 per hour dependant on experience with a night shift allowance on top. This would be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
