For over 80 years, Bradley our traditional craftsmanship combined with advanced technology has delivered precision-engineered metal components for industries across the UK and beyond What You Will Do: - Set up and operate mechanical, lathe-type, or CNC spring-coiling and forming machines to manufacture compression, tension, torsion springs and wire forms.- Prepare materials by selecting and handling steel wire or flat strip stock in line with job blueprints and required alloy grades.- Perform manual forming tasks using hand tools, vices, forming plates and presses, including crimping, truing, bending and finishing coiled elements.- Carry out quality control checks by measuring dimensions, coil counts and pitch using micrometers, calipers and load-test equipment.- Inspect for defects and verify elasticity or tension to ensure each part meets required specifications.- Support finishing and maintenance activities, ..... full job details .....
