Cognition and Learning Outreach Worker Halifax Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Full Time Term Time Only Hybrid Role Are you an experienced school-based professional with a passion for supporting children''s learning and academic development? We are recruiting a Cognition and Learning Outreach Worker to support children and young people with additional learning needs across primary and secondary settings in Halifax. This is a dynamic, hybrid position combining in-school support, outreach work, and collaboration with education professionals.The RoleYou will:Work directly with pupils who require support with cognition and learning across KS2 and KS3 (with some flexibility across other key stages)Deliver targeted academic interventions, including 1:1 and small group supportSupport access to the curriculum across a range of subjectsAdapt learning strategies to meet individual pupil needsWork closely with school staff to implement effective support plansAttend review and multi-agency meetings where requiredTravel between education settings across the areaWork flexibly to attend meetings or undertake duties that may occasionally fall outside standard school hoursEssential CriteriaLevel 3 qualification in Childcare, Education, or equivalent (or higher)Recent experience working in a primary or secondary school settingProven experience supporting children with cognition and learning needsExperience delivering 1:1 and small group interventionsExperience supporting curriculum-based ..... full job details .....
