About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing After Sales team, providing installation, servicing and technical support across a wide customer base.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service. You''ll receive full support, ongoing training and the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a respected and growing business.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across the North of the UK, carrying out installations, planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of commercial beverage equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, servicing and repairing commercial equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
- Providing customers with training on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Recording technical findings and completing service documentation accurately.
- Reporting recurring faults and identifying opportunities for product improvements.
- Supporting the Sales team with technical expertise where required.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service.
- Planning daily workloads and travel routes efficiently, responding to urgent breakdowns when required.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Always Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
About You
We''re looking for an engineer with strong fault-finding abilities and a customer-focused approach.
Ideally you will have:
- A recognised Engineering qualification (A-Level or equivalent as a minimum).
- Experience working with electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining or repairing technical equipment.
- Experience working with pressurised boiler systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT skills and the ability to complete service reports accurately.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A flexible approach to travel, including regular overnight stays.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience working with commercial coffee machines, bean-to-cup equipment, espresso machines or similar catering equipment is beneficial
