Coffee Shop Manager

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (actual salary), DOE Hours: 8.15am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday Contract: 43 weeks per year (41 weeks term time + 2 additional weeks) We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Coffee Shop Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and continued development of a welcoming community café based within a specialist education setting. This is a rewarding and varied role combining café management, baking and food preparation, customer service, and community engagement, alongside providing a positive environment in which young people can gain valuable workplace experience. The Role As Coffee Shop Manager, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the café, maintaining excellent standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness and compliance. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the daily operation, including opening and closing procedures Creating a welcoming, friendly and professional customer experience Producing cakes, traybakes and other baked goods for sale Developing seasonal menus and new product ideas Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and building positive supplier relationships Supporting budget management and stock control Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety and catering compliance Monitoring sales and contributing ideas to develop and promote the café Supporting young people undertaking ..... full job details .....
