CoDi Planner - Coordinating driver and vehicle schedules (Temp-Perm)

Location: Basildon (On-Site Only - No Remote Work)

Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (including 1-hour lunch break)

We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CoDi Planner to join our busy land freight team in Basildon. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with strong multi-drop transport experience who is ready to make an immediate impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Route Optimization: Plan efficient and cost-effective routes for our CoDi fleet.
• Documentation Management: Accurately process, prepare, and validate all essential transportation documentation.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Handle discrepancies with precision and professionalism, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Driver Engagement: Actively participate in driver PCM sessions, fostering clear communication and alignment.
• On-Road Supervision: Conduct thorough on-road supervision tasks to maintain our high standards.
• Operational Efficiency: Minimize delays and average stop times to optimize operational excellence.
• Load and Schedule Management: Maximize load capacity and efficiently manage driver and vehicle schedules for optimal profitability.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven Logistics Experience: A minimum of 1 years of experience in logistics or transportation roles. Crucially, you must have substantial experience in multi-drop transport.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and relevant administrative software.
• Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem solving: Ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems that arise during the workday.
• Fast Paced Environment: Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
