The role will require travel to each facility and conduct inspections of the required areas and the coating applied to ensure compliance. The position is initially a contact role with van supplied and expenses paid. Coating Inspector Description: The coating inspector with attend each facility to survey and ensure compliance Responsibilities include: Pre-Surface Inspection Environmental Monitoring: Checking ambient temperatures, relative humidity, and dew point to ensure optimal curing conditions. Dry Film Thickness (DFT) Testing: magnetic pull-off / eddy current tools to measure the thickness of the applied coating Adhesion & Holiday Testing: Conducting pull-off tests or scanning for pinholes to verify the integrity and durability of the paint system Dilapidation/ wear inspections: Conduct scheduled repeat inspections over specified tim...
