COATING & REWINDING MACHINE OPERATOR

SALARY: Competitive

HOURS: 8:30am to 5:30pm & during busy periods you will go to a 2 shift rota (6am to 2:30pm and then 2pm to 10pm rotating)

A well-established and innovative manufacturing business within the labelling and packaging sector is seeking a skilled Labels Coating & Rewinding Machine Operator to join its production team in Milton Keynes. Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating coating and rewinding machinery used in the production of labels and related materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, a quality-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively within a production team to meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor coating and rewinding machinery to ensure efficient production output.
• Apply coatings and finishes to labels in line with quality and production specifications.
• Carry out routine quality inspections and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
• Prepare machinery, materials, and equipment for daily production schedules.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Support troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance activities where required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and performance targets.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, print, labels, packaging, or production environment preferred.
• Experience operating coating, rewinding, or similar machinery would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns when required.
