Coach BuilderLocation: BristolContract Type: 18 months Hours: 40 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00am 15:30pmSalary: £27.34 Umbrella per hour (Inside IR35)About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Coach Builder to join a busy overhaul team in Bristol. This role is responsible for carrying out the stripping down and rebuilding rail vehicles, as well as carry out overhaul, and repairs in line with company procedures, engineering standards, and safety requirements.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring rolling stock reliability and availability targets are achieved, while supporting continuous improvements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities As a Coachbuilder you will carry out maintenance and overhaul activities on rail vehicles Complete work as allocated by the Team Leader or Heavy Maintenance ManagerOperate and move rail vehicles within depot operating limits where authorizedAdhere to all safety procedures, VMIs, local instructions, and relevant operational documentationEnsure worksheets and maintenance documentation are completed accurately and signed off promptlyFollow all quality, environmental, and engineering procedures at all timesMaintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the depotUse PPE in accordance with company standards and local instructionsAssist in achieving rolling stock availability and reliability targets Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Rail Traction and ..... full job details .....
