Location: Redditch

Salary: Circa £35,000 + Pension

Hours Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:30

The Role

As a European Operations Co?ordinator, you''ll be at the heart of the day-to-day operation, managing European road freight shipments from start to finish.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where attention to detail, commercial awareness, and proactive communication are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily European freight bookings (import & export)
• Handling customs clearance processes where required
• Creating and managing job files and key documentation
• Processing shipments through the Multifreight system
• Liaising with clients - quotations, bookings, updates, and issue resolution
• Negotiating rates and managing supplier relationships
• Working closely with the internal sales team on pricing and service solutions
• Monitoring shipments to completion, ensuring service excellence throughout
• Maximising profitability through cost control and supplier negotiation
• Invoicing and maintaining accurate operational records
• Contributing to team meetings, performance reviews, and business planning

 What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience in European freight forwarding or transport operations
• Strong commercial awareness with experience in quotations & rate negotiation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage workloads under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive problem solver with a "can-do" attitude
• Self-motivated, driven, and enthusiastic
