Job Role: CNC/Manual TurnerLocation: CoventrySalary: 35,000 per annumMetalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a CNC/Manual Turner to join their team.Job Duties: You will be setting and operating an XYZ SLX425 x 1.25m Proturn Lathe and a Colchester Mastiff VS1800Program online for CNC''sSmall batch work (20 off''s max)Read and interpret engineering drawingsUse of Surface Grinders, Offhand Grinders, Band Saw, Tub Grinders, Reciprocating Saw, Diamond Lap when requiredProduce components to drawing tolerancesInspection of components as required using the various inspection facilities availablePreparation of reports may be required on occasion for specific customersDe-burring and de-magnetization of parts for buildPreparation of raw material as required (cutting to length etc.)Identification of tooling requirements for production purposes and procurement of tooling as required in conjunction with production engineeringIdentifying potential improvements in productivity and liaising with production engineering as required to implement improvementsCleaning down machines dailyJob Requirements: Engineering apprenticeship/Time Served is requiredCNC and Manual experience is preferredTool Room experience is preferredSalary and Shift: 35,000 per annumMonday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pmIf this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV! ..... full job details .....
