CNC Wood Machinist

CNC Operator / Beam Saw Operator Pay Rate: 13.52- 14.25 per hour, depending on experience Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm Friday, 7:00am-1:00pm Holiday Entitlement: 30 days per year, including bank holidays The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator / Beam Saw Operator on behalf of an established manufacturing business. The company specialises in producing high-quality joinery and bespoke products, supplying customers who value precision, craftsmanship and reliable service.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating CNC machinery or woodworking equipment who is looking to join a supportive production team with opportunities to develop their skills through further training.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery and cutting equipment to manufacture components in line with production schedules and specifications.Interpret job sheets, machine programs and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.Follow written instructions, visual guides and CAD drawings where required.Check completed components against quality standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Work efficiently to production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.Carry out routine machine cleaning, inspections and basic preventative maintenance.Identify faults or performance issues and report them promptly to the appropriate person.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow company procedures and comply with ..... full job details .....
