CNC Turning Supervisor

As a CNC Turning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing machining operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting your team to achieve production deadlines.
 
Your responsibilities as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
 

• Lead and support a team within the CNC turning department, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Set and operate CNC lathes using industry leading controls.
• Machine precision components to engineering drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Use appropriate measuring equipment and follow inspection schedules.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensure timely production while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

 
Your current experience which will help you as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
 

• Completed a Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in a precision engineering environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use measurement equipment.
• Experience with live tooling (preferred).
• Ability to program CNC machines (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.

 
What you can expect as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
 

• Up to £24 per hour, dependent on experience. (40 hour week)
• 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
