You must be a fully skilled engineer and experienced programmer, setter and operator. The component batches you are machining will vary but are predominantly on the smaller side so this role will include a lot of on the machine programming/setting. Day to day tasks will include: -Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC Y-axis lathe with live tooling -Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls -Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment -Deburring and finishing of components -Maintaining a clean and safe workplace To be successful, you must be Apprentice trained or a time served engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
