If so, I am looking for you to work for my client, a busy and growing Precision Engineering firm based near to Yeadon, Leeds.Ideally, you will be Apprentice Trained; however, my client will employ experienced, time served CNC Turners. Key requirements for the role include:-Must be able to Program, Set, Edit and Operate-Experience and knowledge of Siemens controls would be ideal, however if you have Fanuc, Mazatrol or Mazak controls experience and want to be trained on Siemens controls, then do apply-Knowledge of Siemens ShopTurn would be advantageous-Good experience of Sub-Contract work-Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze and Plastic-Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components (5 s to 200 s)-CNC Milling experience would be beneficial-Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and MicrometresDay to day duties of this role include:-Programming, setting and operating CNC s to produce accurate, quality components on time-Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling-Managing your work schedule-Self inspecting all manufactured components-Adhering to all Quality and HandS StandardsYou will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an 11am finish on a Friday.
