The component batches you are machining will vary but are predominantly on the smaller side so this role will include a lot of on the machine programming/setting.Day to day tasks will include:-Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC Y-axis lathe with live tooling-Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls-Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment-Deburring and finishing of components-Maintaining a clean and safe workplaceTo be successful, you must be Apprentice trained or a time served engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience.
