This role involves producing precision components using manual lathes, milling machines, and CNC mills, working to tight tolerances and supporting quick turnaround machining requirements. You will work closely with fabrication and gearbox repair teams to meet customer deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision components. Operate CNC milling machines and lathes as required. Read and interpret engineering drawings and job sheets accurately. Select appropriate tools, measure and check work using gauges and instruments. Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish to specification. Carry out routine machine maintenance and safe material handling.
