CNC Turner Job Description Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes Working to tight tolerances Producing high precision batch work components anywhere from 50 off to 1000s off. Setting and Operating using Fanuc Controls Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials Operating and setting on New and upto date machinery CNC Turner Skills Required Setting and Operating CNC Fixed or Sliding head Lathes experience (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential) Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment. The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings Able to Inspect machined comonents using variour inspection equipment Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.
