This is a Programmer/Setter role, working with a range of machinery on site, primarily with fanuc controls The ideal candidate will be able to programme at the machine from drawings, and use CAM software, though existing skills can be developed. This is what you''ll be doing:Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and required tolerances.Inspect components to ensure they meet drawing tolerances, to the quality requiredSupport the wider production team, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety, and providing guidance to colleagues where required.The experience you''ll need in this role:Previous experience working in a similar CNC Turning or precision machining role, ideally with 3-5 years'' experience.Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and dimensional tolerances, with strong attention to detail.And this is what you''ll get in return:Salary increase after 12 months'' service9 day fortnight - ..... full job details .....
