CNC Turner Setter Location: Gloucester Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour DOE Hours: Days ? Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-3:30pm The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Setter to join a well-established precision engineering and CNC machining business based in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating fixed-head CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to further develop their skills, with full training and development available on Millturn lathes and sliding-head machinery. As your skill set develops and training is successfully completed, there is the opportunity to increase your earning potential. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating fixed-head CNC lathes Working with Fanuc-controlled machinery Producing precision-turned components to engineering drawings and specifications Setting tooling, offsets and workholding Carrying out tool changes and machine adjustments Inspecting components using appropriate measuring equipment Maintaining tight dimensional tolerances and high-quality standards Working with a range of materials and producing components across varying batch sizes Working independently while contributing to an experienced engineering team Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentTraining and ..... full job details .....
