Our client is hiring a CNC Turner to produce aerospace components from start to finish-working to strict specifications, meeting delivery targets, and contributing in an empowered, lean environment. What you''ll be doing: CNC turning on 2-axis lathes, setting and running bespoke work from start to finish Interpreting engineering drawings and following manufacturing instructions, process layouts and documentation procedures Producing parts to aerospace specifications and customer/regulator requirements Operating OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) to confirm assemblies meet Honeywell and customer standards Working to complete work on time and to the required standard Sticking to lean working practices and working effectively in a continuous improvement culture What you''ll bring: Solid machining knowledge, including CNC turning (or strong manual turning / comparable machining experience) Experience or familiarity with hand measuring tools such as Vernier, micrometers, thread gauges and plug gauges A strong commitment to Health and Safety and following company processes at all times Teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to use initiative-especially in a safety-critical environment PC literacy Preference ..... full job details .....
