Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company with a small but friendly team of engineers looking for a cnc turner operating an xyz lathe. The cnc turner role will see you carrying out the following duties: cnc machining of parts Programming on an xyz turning machine Turning of larger parts Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce parts You will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor. This role will allow you to get on with your work unsupervised with your allocated jobs The cnc turner is likely to have: Served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist, however candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in machining.
