CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / OperatorSalary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum Location: On-site Hours: Full-time Mon - Friday (8am-5pm) A specialist engineering business is looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator to join its highly skilled workshop team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who enjoys varied, technically challenging work and takes pride in producing high-quality precision components. The RoleYou will be responsible for the complete machining process, from programming and setting through to operation and inspection.Working with a 3-axis CNC lathe with live tooling, you will produce one-off and small-batch components to demanding specifications and tolerances.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set and operate 3-axis CNC lathes with live tooling.Programme both online and offline using FANUC controls.Interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.Select tooling, work holding, speeds and feeds.Set tools, offsets and work coordinates.Produce components to tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment.Make programme and tooling adjustments where required.Work with a range of engineering materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminium.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and machine/tooling care.Work closely with engineers and workshop colleagues to resolve manufacturing challenges.About YouThe successful candidate will have proven ..... full job details .....
