CNC Turner Programmer / SetterRotherham Permanent 18- 19 per hourShillito Group is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join an established precision engineering business in Rotherham.This is a programming and setting role, ideal for someone confident taking components from engineering drawings through to completed, inspected parts. Applications are also welcome from skilled CNC Turners with strong bar feeding experience who are looking to develop further in programming and setting.You''ll work with modern CNC turning machinery, producing high precision components while taking ownership of programming, tooling, setting, inspection and process improvement.The roleProgram, set and operate CNC turning machinesProduce precision-engineered parts from technical drawingsCreate, edit and improve CNC programsSet tooling and prepare machines for productionAdjust speeds, feeds, offsets and machine parametersComplete first-off and in-process inspectionWork with driven tooling, live tooling and multi-axis machiningResolve machining and production issuesImprove cycle times, tool life and overall efficiencyOperate more than one machine when requiredComplete quality and traceability documentationSupport continuous-improvement activitiesWhat we''re looking forYou''ll have previous CNC turning experience, ideally including programming and setting CNC lathes or turning centres.
