This is a proper hands-on turning role. You''ll be working on multi-axis lathes with Fanuc controls, producing tight tolerance components in a clean, well-invested engineering environment. They need someone who can get stuck in, take ownership of their machine, and keep work moving without needing their hand held. You''ll be responsible for setting, operating and editing programmes, proving out jobs, working from engineering drawings and keeping quality where it needs to be. The role will involve: Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls Editing and optimising programmes at the machine Working on multi-axis lathes with live tooling Reading engineering drawings and technical specifications Producing tight tolerance components Carrying out first-off checks and working closely with quality Looking at cycle times, tooling and general machining improvements Keeping machines running properly and supporting basic maintenance What we''re looking for: CNC turning experience Fanuc control ex...
