Rotherham Monday to Friday, days Up to 20 per hour PermanentShillito Group are recruiting for a CNC Turner on behalf of one of our clients based in Rotherham.This is a proper hands-on turning role. You''ll be working on multi-axis lathes with Fanuc controls, producing tight tolerance components in a clean, well-invested engineering environment.They need someone who can get stuck in, take ownership of their machine, and keep work moving without needing their hand held.You''ll be responsible for setting, operating and editing programmes, proving out jobs, working from engineering drawings and keeping quality where it needs to be.The role will involve:Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controlsEditing and optimising programmes at the machineWorking on multi-axis lathes with live toolingReading engineering drawings and technical specificationsProducing tight tolerance componentsCarrying out first-off checks and working closely with qualityLooking at cycle times, tooling and general machining improvementsKeeping machines running properly and supporting basic maintenanceWhat we''re looking for:CNC turning experienceFanuc control experienceAbility to set and operateConfidence working to tight tolerancesAble to read engineering drawingsGood understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and fixturingMulti-axis lathe experience would be idealProgramming experience would be a strong advantageSalary: 18 - 20 per hour This is a fantastic opportunity where you''ll work within a modern, ..... full job details .....
